Highlights & Tips

Homeless can occur unexpectedly:

  1. when you lose your job and can't pay rent and other necessities, or
  2. when fire burns your home like so many did in this area two and a half years ago, or floods or mountain slides destroy your home, and you have nowhere else to live, or
  3. when family tells you to leave the only home you know, or
  4. when death occurs to the primary wage earner in a family, or
  5. when an individual is overcome by drug abuse, or
  6. when the spouse and/or children are abused and have to leave their home.

Recently we witnessed many who became homeless due to hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Pacific Lifeline, who provides food, clothing, and shelter here in your area, is also asking for your help.
