Lila Cervantes
In 1995, Lila Cervantes began a professional career as a bilingual singer and was a featured soloist at Net '95 series in Hawaii, hosted by Mark Finley. A year later, Lila entered a Christian Radio contest and was a featured soloist on the CD Lei of Dreams. She also was the 1996 Champion Hawaii Stars (comparable to American Idol). Lila toured Hawaii and the southern states, and with the help of a music agent, she performed internationally in Japan, Hong Kong, and Germany. In 2008, Lila met ASCAP Christian composer, Brenda Lane, whose compositions are featured in Lila's debut CD I Can See.
From the first moments of singing in front of my class in grade school and church, I have longed for the time I could sing in front of audiences and those far beyond my reach. There was a time that I thought my dream would never be realized, but God would teach me differently. Throughout this incredible journey I was taught the meaning of patience and perseverance. In order to truly believe the lyrics and the melody lines of songs I would sing, I had to let go and let God take control of my life. Although there have been many trials, God, in His word, has promised that He is nothing less than a FAITHFUL and FORGIVING God.
Mission Statement: "To reach the world by sharing the joy of God's limitless love through the inspiration of song"
